About the program
Hosted by executive trainer, speaker, coach, and board member, Janelle Brittain, Ahead of the Curve focuses on career transition to help SWB members to effectively prepare for a successful board career. Participants can expect to radically develop their knowledge of the role and refine their approach to achieving a board-level status.
The course runs over 7-modules which cover every aspect required to succeed in securing and excelling within a board appointment such as board interviews, meetings, dynamics and planning for success. As part of this program, you will review your career successes and translate these into the attitudes, mindset, and behaviors to support you both in the search for your desired portfolio role and to enhance your effectiveness once you are in your new position. Networking is also a key element of the program and you’ll be able to connect with a group of like-minded professionals.
